Holds the Stars was a development of a track called "The Mark Stoney Community Gospel Choir" on my first album Amber. It was originally pegged as a single in the Island records days, but that kinda went tits up. It features a choir made entirely of me- at the time of recording I had no friends you see. It was eventually polished up and released in Dec 2005 as a double A-Side with "Until You Leave". on TooNice records. It was awarded iTunes "Single of the week" the same month on the UK store.
This record also appears as the title song in the 2007 UK film "Heroes & Villains"
